THE HERDS is public art and climate action on a vast scale – an ambitious coming together of culture and climate to inspire action and reignite our connection with the natural world. Read more.

Public art & climate action

We believe what is lacking in the current climate debate is not scientific understanding, it’s the sensory emotional experience that has the power to stimulate action.

The puppet animals

THE HERDS is made up of dozens of species including elephants, giraffes, antelope, lions and more, all built from renewable and recyclable materials. They will be proud, elegant, frightened and ferocious, conveying the wildness and beauty of nature.
