Writer-director and producer, Tshoper Kabambi teaches cinema at the Institut National Institut National des Arts de Kinshasa, where he obtained his bachelor's degree (Bac +5) in directing theater and cinema.
Tshoper is Managing Director of Bimpa Production, his audio-visual production company that works for the emergence, visibility and promotion of cinema in the DRC. A passionate filmmaker since childhood, he has taken several training courses, workshops and master classes to realize his dream of becoming a filmmaker.
Tshoper Kabambi has produced and co-produced several high-quality feature-length and short films. He is also founder of the Festival International de Cinéma de Kinshasa (FICKIN), initiator of the “From Idea to Film” workshops and founder of the BIMPA Cultural Center.
Tshoper Kabambi also works as a fixer and executive producer on several foreign projects throughout the Great Lakes Region and Central Africa.
