Théâtre Nomade

« Back to Partners

Le Théâtre Nomade was founded in 2006 by Mohamed El Hassouni after his experience with Germany’s Ton und Kirschen theater. Committed to democratizing culture, this Moroccan non-profit uses Street Arts to revitalize traditional storytelling and foster social cohesion. With a nomadic spirit, the troupe brings performances to communities lacking cultural infrastructure, transforming public spaces through urban parades, carnival theater, and Moroccan folk traditions. By blending oral storytelling and local energy, Le Théâtre Nomade creates immersive, communal artistic experiences across Morocco.
