École des Beaux-Arts de Casablanca (ESBAC), founded in 1919 by French orientalist painter Édouard Brindeau de Jarny, has played a key role in shaping Moroccan modernist and nativist artistic movements. Under Farid Belkahia, it became the center of the Casablanca School, integrating traditional Moroccan crafts into contemporary art. Initially focused on applied arts, ESBAC has evolved into a hub for modern artistic expression, offering programs in Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Arts & Space, spanning fine arts and new media.
