Domestic Data Streamers is a Barcelona-based collective combining arts, design, and data science to make complex social topics engaging and accessible. Through installations and digital experiences, they transform data into interactive stories across settings from museums to the UN Headquarters. Their Synthetic Memories project reflects this mission by using generative AI to recreate memories at risk of loss from aging, illness, or displacement. Beyond preservation, Synthetic Memories examines how memories shape individual and collective identities, inviting reflection on culture, ethics, and the future role of technology in the arts.
